Marketing on demand can
make your business
a big deal

For profit or non-profit, every organization must grow and adapt to meet the needs of its customers, get the word out about what it has to offer, and stay ahead of the competition.

This is true now more than ever. For example, it seems like social marketing has just exploded on the scene and already MySpace is the third most popular Web site on the planet. That fact according to Wikipedia – which didn’t exist in the last century.

Obviously, an upstart can get big quickly. And those who are standing still can find themselves buried by the competition. None of us can afford to take our customers for granted – or do things the way we used to.

Fast, flexible options and services

Big Deal PR offers you flexible marketing services. We’re not attached to any one way of doing things and we won’t force you to fit into a mold (the old molds are broken anyway).

That’s why Big Deal PR works as a virtual marketing team. We have numerous in-house resources along with the expertise to find and manage additional resources and services. If you need tried and true marketing tactics – or a leading edge approach – we can can help you.

A marketing mix that is just right for you

Big Deal PR is marketing agnostic. This means we won’t recommend PR if it really won’t help. Or tell you to spiff up your Web site if your customers probably won’t find you there anyway.

It's our goal to help you in the most efficient, economical ways possible – not cram you into pre-fab business categories or sell you services you really don't need.

We love to discuss marketing conundrums, so if you’re already bored by all this reading, just pick up the phone and call us

Ideas to get you started...

If you aren’t a marketing expert, you might find the following Q & A helpful.

Q.  There are so many options for marketing – can you help me figure out what will work best for my organization or business?

A.  Over the past 14 years, Big Deal PR has worked with many entrepreneurs and organizations that are starting from scratch or need to figure out new ways to reach their customers and constituencies. We will never make you feel foolish if you don’t know the difference between an ad and an advertorial or Flash and HTML. We don’t expect you to. We expect to help you – in plain English – figure out how to tell potential customers (and other decision-makers) what you have to offer and why it's better than the competition.

We will analyze your business, your marketplace and your messages (if you already have a few) and help you figure out how to do get the word out. This could take a few hours or a few weeks.

It all depends upon where you're starting from and the complexity of your business model and marketplace. There is no cookie-cutter approach that will work for everyone. But we will assess what will work for you and provide you with an accurate estimate for services.

Q.  How do I create a marketing program from ground zero?

A.  Whether you are an entrepreneur who has invented something that doesn’t have a product category or a non-profit that has always relied on word-of-mouth for awareness, we can help you create a marketing plan to cover the next three months or the next three years.

If you’re working on a business plan and need to flush out the details of marketing initiatives, we’re happy to help with that as well. We’ll start wherever you’re at and build upon it – within your budget constraints.

Q.  I’m running a start-up; what are my options for building recognition on a limited budget?

A.  We understand the vagaries of the start-up world. Sometimes amazing things happen in a short period of time and other times you encounter unexpected hurdles that delay go-to-market plans.

We’re flexible enough to deal with the ups and downs of entrepreneurial endeavors.  We also understand that sometimes you have to appear bigger than you are just to get off the ground – but that needs to be balanced by authenticity or you’ll risk alienating customers, journalists and analysts.

We’ll help you navigate these choppy waters with a communications approach that is honest and authentic while emphasizing enthusiasm for what is yet to come.
